COLE COUNTY, Mo. – The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating a bridge collapse that sent passengers into the water late Friday afternoon.
According to police, the collapse occurred as a truck, with a trailer attached, was crossing over the wooden bridge at the Lock and Dam Spur.
Both the vehicle and its occupants were thrown into the water.
There have been no reported injuries.
