Hey everyone! If you’re a recent college grad, or you know someone who is, today’s video is a must-watch! We’re diving into the top 10 cities where college graduates are flocking to start their new lives and careers. Let’s find out which cities made the list and why they’re so appealing!
The analysis is based on rent-to-income ratios, rental choices, jobs for people with a college degree, appealing lifestyles which is based on Yelp data for things like entertainment, restaurants, shopping and lifestyle businesses, as well as the number of other young professionals living in the city.
A new survey was conducted by Realtor.com® and the top spot goes to Austin, Texas. Austin is known for its vibrant culture and booming tech scene and is a magnet for young professionals!
Next up is Bloomington, Minnesota. It’s one of the most affordable cities on our list. If you love the blend of city life and nature, Bloomington’s got plenty to offer.
Pittsburgh comes in third. It’s not just the rent-to-income ratio of that’s attractive here, but also its rich history and growing tech industry that make it a great place for college grads.
Raleigh, North Carolina, is a hub for research and development, making it perfect for those in tech and scientific research fields.
Number five is Overland Park, Kansas. It’s known for its friendly atmosphere and high quality of life.
Richmond, Virginia; Scottsdale, Arizona; Beaverton, Oregon; St. Louis, Missouri; and Atlanta, Georgia, round out our list. Each city has its unique charm and economic advantages for young grads.
Remember, choosing where to live after graduation isn’t just about affordability. It’s also about job prospects, lifestyle, and finding a community where you can thrive.
