India and Pakistan clash in Kashmir
Seventeen civilians are dead and tensions between India and Pakistan the highest in a decade after the two nuclear powers exchanged fire in disputed Kashmir.

ST. LOUIS
Police officer shoots and kills 18-year-old.
Peaceful demonstrators have filled the streets where an off-duty St. Louis police officer shot a black teenager Wednesday night.

NORTH KOREA

YEMEN
Suicide bombs strike Yemen, killing 70
Some 70 people are dead following suicide bomb attacks in a crowded square in the capital Sana’a and an army checkpoint in the country’s south.
