ST. LOUIS – St. Louis police are responding to a shooting Tuesday afternoon in a north city neighborhood.
The shooting happened at Whittier Street and Maffitt Avenue in The Ville.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department X account described the event as an “officer-involved shooting,” but offered no additional information to clarify who shot at whom. The police statement said no officers were injured but did not indicate if anyone else was hurt.
