ST. LOUIS – Homicide detectives with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department are investigating a fatal shooting across the street from Fairground Park.
According to a police statement, officers received a call for a shooting around 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, across from the park in the 4100 block of Natural Bridge Avenue. This is in the city’s O’Fallon neighborhood.
Police arrived at the scene and found the body of a 22-year-old man.
The victim’s name has not been released, pending notification of family members.
