Rush Limbaugh’s Rams Ouster “A High-Tech Lynching,” Says Radio Host

A panel discussion on “Anderson Cooper 360” about conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh being displaced by a group interested in owning the St. Louis Rams. While the Rev. Al Sharpton says Rush “must be held accountable” and possibly “penalized for his opinions,” and Stephen A. Smith argues that Rush is “clearly a polarizing figure” and thus a liability “based on business purposes alone”, KTRS radio host McGraw Milhaven doesn’t hold back in defending Limbaugh.

“This, by definition, is a high-tech lynching,” he argues. “There are people out there, especially some St. Louis sportswriters, who don’t like Rush Limbaugh’s politics, and they make up quotes, and do anything they can do to besmirch the man, to defile him, so they make it as awful as possible, so tha the NFL says, ‘this is too toxic, I don’t want to touch it.’ This is a high-tech lynching.”
