RJ Hampshire & Jett Lawrence ON TOP in St. Louis | Qualifying Report



The 450SX field was flagged off, with Jason Anderson leading the pack. Within two laps, the competitors began setting impressive lap times. Eli Tomac quickly made his mark by topping the leaderboard with a 56.421 lap. Tomac continued to push his limits, setting a 56.160 lap shortly thereafter. However, Jett Lawrence managed to surpass Tomac’s time with a 56.015 lap. As the race progressed, Lawrence found his rhythm and set a blistering 55.253 lap, setting the bar even higher. Not one to be outdone, Chase Sexton joined the sub-56 club with a remarkable 55.795 lap of his own. In the end, Jett Lawrence reigned supreme with his outstanding 55.253 lap. In the second 250SX Group A qualifying session, Jordon Smith and Julien Beaumer took the lead. Smith’s early time of 57.208 was the fastest at that point, placing him ahead of Rj Hampshire’s 57.311 from the first session as the track conditions improved. Levi Kitchen then set a 57.068, but Hampshire quickly reclaimed the top spot with an impressive 55.956 lap. Hampshire continued to push, lowering his time to 56.660, while Carson Mumford made a significant jump with a 56.978 lap, securing third place behind Hampshire and Kitchen. Hampshire’s 55.956 lap remained the best overall qualifying time for the day in the 250SX class.
