Rain showers and cloudy skies expected in the mid-70s

ST. LOUIS — The widespread light rain has shifted east of the river, where it is still impacting most of our Illinois counties. It’ll continue to taper off from west to east, with just some spotty showers or thundershowers expected, mainly along and east of the river through the afternoon.

Temperatures will stay in the mid-70s today due to clouds and scattered rain. This evening, the rain comes to an end, and we’ll see some clearing overnight. Patchy fog may develop on Sunday morning, but we expect a nice day with highs in the mid-80s. Somewhat unsettled weather returns on Monday, with daily rain chances through Wednesday.
