Over 30k reservations made for Ramsay’s Kitchen in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS – World-renowned chef Gordon Ramsay made a highly anticipated stop in St. Louis for the private ribbon-cutting ceremony of his new restaurant, Ramsay’s Kitchen, at the Four Seasons Hotel.

Ramsay cut the ribbon in front of a crowd of local and regional officials. In an exclusive interview before the ceremony, Ramsay shared his thoughts on the opening.

“There’s something quite unique about being on the river. Some when we first started talking to Four Seasons two years ago. I looked at the space, thought about the produce, thought about the efficiency. But for me, there’s something quite humble when you come to these amazing cities like St. Louis,” he said.

Ramsay’s Kitchen, which is in the center of downtown St. Louis, provides all-day dining with a menu that Ramsay created. This is the fifth location of Ramsay’s kitchen in the U.S.

“I would say 95% of our produce is sourced within a 30-mile radius. For a menu and a chef, that’s a dream. Honestly, just the ribs and that beautiful sauce and then that smoked chicken playing into the essence of the barbeque phenomenon here,” Ramsay said.

Community leaders attended the private ribbon-cutting ceremony. Alderwoman Cara Spencer presented Ramsay with a resolution, thanking him for his contribution to the culinary expertise scene and its future.

“My next ambition is to literally scale that arch way and abseil down. It’s like the biggest slide any chef can hope to slide down,” Ramsay joked.

Known for his hit shows “Hell’s Kitchen” and “MasterChef,” Ramsay has chosen show contestants to work in his restaurant.

Ramsay told us the restaurant has already received 30,000 reservations. He stated that this is the most reservations he has ever received at one of his restaurants. If you are planning to dine at Ramsay’s Kitchen, it is highly encouraged you make a reservation.
