To the editor:
Recently, Mehlville School District Board of Education member Patrick McKelvey announced he had fulfilled his campaign promise of being the most visible board member in Mehlville’s history. While it is difficult to know if this is true, I believe it. He has attended over 365 events around the district in less than three years on the board: robotics, economics, theater, basketball, football and everything in between.
Don’t believe it? He posted most of it on social media. You could also ask the parents, staff or administrators whom he assisted at the many different events.
In a day where many politicians do not keep their promises, it is refreshing that he does.
