Meet Baby Ray, our 2024 Children’s Miracle Network Ambassador

Now 8 years old, Baby Ray had an early start to life. After health complications during pregnancy, his Mom, Robin, gave birth to Baby Ray at 23 weeks at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Following birth, Baby Ray started his Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) journey at St. Louis Children’s Hospital that included countless medical procedures and a hospital stay that lasted more than eight months. Currently diagnosed with cerebral palsy, autism, chronic lung disease, sensory processing disorder and ADHD, Baby Ray continues to beat the odds that are against him.

Robin lost her job shortly after Baby Ray’s birth and the Center for Families provided resources for her to update her resume and search for jobs, as well as apply for Medicaid since she was concerned about Baby Ray’s medical coverage. Meet Baby Ray and learn more about his journey with St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
