NORTH COUNTY – There was a chaotic situation this morning following a shooting in North County. The shooting was on Green Valley Drive near Dellwood a little after 1 a.m.
The police found a man who had been shot in the foot. He was taken to the hospital. The police originally thought the shooter was in the house next door.
They had their guns out as if in a standoff. It did not take long for officers to realize that person was not inside.
