MAPLEWOOD, Mo. – A man was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Maplewood on Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred on South Hanley and Sunnen Drive around 5 a.m. The man was transported to the hospital but was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the car that struck the man stayed on the scene and is cooperating with the police.
The road will be closed in both directions for a significant period of time as accident reconstruction crews complete their investigation.
