Welcome back to our channel where today, we’re discussing that the U.S. wants to remain the global hegemon and therefore must re-industrialize. If they will re-industrialize they must have a weaker dollar to do so, and therefore the commodity complex will take-off. We discuss all of this and so much more with Louis-Vincent Gave, founder of GaveKal.

After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Duke University and studying Mandarin at Nanjing University, Louis joined the French Army where he served as a second lieutenant in a mountain infantry battalion. After a couple of years, Louis left the army and joined Paribas where he worked as a financial analyst—first in Paris, then in Hong Kong.

Louis left Paribas in 1998 to launch Gavekal with his father Charles and Anatole Kaletsky. Gevekal offers global economies and markets research services, fund management with more than $1billion under management, Private Wealth Advisory Services, portfolio Software Tools and more.

Louis has written seven books, and speaks English and French.
