LIST: Dog-friendly restaurants and cafes in St. Louis



ST. LOUIS – From tacos to pickleball, treat your furry friend to a day out at one of the many restaurants and cafe options open to dogs. As long as they are on a leash, are not aggressive, and are cleaned up after, dogs are welcome at any of these locations.

Zoomies Pet Cafe STL

Specifically curated for dogs and their humans, Zoomies Pet Cafe is a coffee house and boutique where dogs are welcome outside and inside. The cafe includes spaces for your dog to explore in their “Studio,” patio and in their off-leash backyard. Zoomies located at 5828 Macklind Avenue in the Soulard neighborhood even hosts breed “meet-ups” for specific dog breeds to play together at their cafe.

The Boathouse at Forest Park

After a long walk through Forest Park, furry friends can take a break at The Boathouse. The outdoor patio restaurant even has a “dog menu” featuring items such as cheeseburger patties, bacon strips and a “Purina frosty paw cup.”

Taco Buddha

With locations in University City and Kirkwood, Taco Buddha features a dog-friendly patio for pups to enjoy the outdoors and the smell of tacos. Taco Buddha serves up unique tacos like “The Kingston” with grilled Jamaican jerk chicken and pineapple pico alongside other options like “The Thailand” and “The Baja” tacos.

Frankie Martin’s Garden

This “food truck” garden located in Cottleville, Missouri, offers a large, open space for pups to hang out at. Outdoor pickleball courts, sand volleyball, over 30 food trucks and live music are all featured at Frankie Martin’s Garden.

Tamm Avenue Bar

Located in the Dogtown neighborhood, across from the St. Louis Zoo, Tamm Avenue Bar has a large dog-friendly patio and has dog bowls available for thirsty pups. This bar also includes a game room and live music, along with a list of cocktails and beer options, with food provided by Nomad STL.

Chicken N Pickle, St. Charles

Chicken N Pickle, located in St. Charles, has a spacious outdoor space for four-legged friends to peruse on a leash. Amongst several pickleball courts, cornhole sets, ping pong table and other games, pups can enjoy this venue and the smell of their many chicken sandwich options.

Bar K

This outdoor and indoor dog park features three bars and a restaurant for humans to enjoy while their pup is free to explore. Bar K features 2-acres of outdoor space and a 10,000 square foot indoor park for both large and small dogs. Membership is required to enjoy Bar K which start at $10 for a day pass.
