CREVE COEUR, Mo – A juvenile is under arrest for using a gel bead blaster in an AMC theater before fleeing the scene. He was later arrested.
Around 5:30 p.m., the Creve Coeur Police were called to a disturbance at the AMC Creve Coeur 12 Theater, located at 10465 Olive Boulevard. The juvenile, who was wearing a mask, stood up from his seat near the front of the crowded theater and pulled out a gel bead blaster.
He began shooting the beads into the crowd before running from the theater. Responding officers found the juvenile in a nearby parking lot shortly after the incident. They recovered the gel bead blaster and the mask he was using.
The juvenile was arrested and taken to St. Louis County Family Court for processing. Adjudication will be determined by the Family Court. No injuries were reported. The police have secured the scene, and there is no active threat related to this case.
