Investigation underway after shooting of a young adult



ST. LOUIS — Police are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred in South St. Louis. The shooting took place shortly after 1:30 a.m. on March 23 near the intersection of Virginia and Osceola in Dutchtown.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 19-year-old man who had been shot in the back. He was conscious and breathing at the time of discovery. However, it remains unclear whether any suspects have been taken into custody.
