Job Coach (Employment Consultant) (Ref: 0948)
Employment Job Coach: $11.38/hour, Full-time
Job Description: Ensures customers learn the skills/tasks of their new jobs and maintain employment.
Responsibilities: Candidate has formal responsibility for making recommendations regarding job related policies or procedures. Coordinates weekly work schedules for customers’ receiving coaching and retention services. Responsible for agency paperwork and customer files (paper and electronic) being current and meeting funding requirements.
Requirements:Sound knowledge of developmental disabilities; Knowledge of support services (resources within city and county); Problem solving; ability to effectively multi-task; prioritize and plan in order to meet Life Skills timelines; good communication skills; computer skills; High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred; at least 1 year of MRDD experience.
