Donna Lambert, Cardinals partner, dies at 84



ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Cardinals organization announced Monday that Donna “DeDe” DeWitt Lambert passed away Saturday.

She passed away at 84 years old due to a lengthy illness, according to a release.

Lambert was the sister of Bill DeWitt Jr., the Cardinals principal owner and chief executive officer, and the aunt of Bill DeWitt III, the Cardinals president.

She was also one of the original members of the group that purchased the MLB team from Anheuser-Busch in 1996.
