JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – With less than five weeks until the final adjournment in Jefferson City, there’s still an important multi-billion-dollar tax to renew, impacting more than a million Missourians.
It’s a key piece of funding that could put the state’s Medicaid program in jeopardy if it’s not renewed.
Some Senate Republicans say before taking up the FRA, they need to pass separate legislation to defund Planned Parenthood, which they did last week. Now, the legislation is waiting for final approval in the House.
