Working St. Louis is a part of American Graduate: Getting to Work, an initiative by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting that highlights the pathways available to our youth after graduating from high school and job seekers age 16-26. Through American Graduate: Getting to Work, the Nine Network is working with a network of trusted partners to highlight the changing world of work, the pathways to gainful employment in high demand career pathways, and resources available to the St. Louis Region. The purpose is to raise overall awareness of job opportunities that are in demand and to help connect people in our region to resources to help find these jobs. (Middle-skills jobs offer opportunities to people looking to start or change careers. These jobs require some education and training after high school, but not necessarily a four-year degree.)
