Construction starting on $10 million Hangar Complex at Spirit of St. Louis

CHESTERFIELD– St. Louis County announced a 10-million-dollar project Thursday to address the need for aircraft storage at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport.

County officials say the construction will benefit the entire region by making the Spirit of Saint Louis Airport more attractive for fliers from all over the country.

The facility, which will be named the “Spirit Sky Club,” will hold units for single-engine, twin-engine, and light business aircraft. It will also have remote-controlled garage doors and private, secure parking.
