ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A 4-year-old child was struck by a car and rushed to the hospital on Sunday evening.
The incident happened just before 8:10 p.m. in the 10000 block of Royal Drive in Moline Acres.
The child was in the street when they were hit by the vehicle, according to police.
Police claim people in the area attacked the driver and passenger of the car.
Both the driver and passenger refused medical treatment at the scene.
The 4-year-old’s injuries were not life-threatening, police said.
