ABB, the multinational electrical transformer manufacturing company, has decided to discontinue production at its St. Louis unit, according to a press release.
The press release sent Monday said the move is a part of the company’s ‘Power Up’ program that will invest in U.S. production in South Boston and Crystal Springs, Mississippi. The release said the St. Louis location will continue to focus on engineering and service activities, but 120 production jobs in the area will be lost.
