Everyone has a unique career path in life. Malik Johnson gets to do what he’s always wanted to do – work with his hands. As a laborer for Clayco, Malik is doing what he loves and gaining valuable skills for the future.
Malik Johnson of St. Louis started working for Clayco Construction right out of high school as a laborer, helping the foreman with everything from firewatching, to welding to learning what it takes to build a commercial building. He knew he wanted to work with his hands, and after learning about the opportunities through Clayco, Malik started his apprenticeship the Saturday after high school graduation and he has been there for the last two years learning the trade.
